Now, I'm one of the people who loved Blair Witch one as opposed to hating it...however I have yet to see The Book of Shadows and I have heard reactions ranging from "It's very underrated" to "It just plain sucks"..is it at least worth checking out?

I think it's a good movie like you i liked the first one ...the second one is nothing like it but i liked it anyway.

I Thought it looked sharp and the cinematography was great but that might be because the first was all shaky and amatuerish.
I was kept entertained expecting something big to happen, but the film stopped short of anything resembling a finale. The worst is actually on the special features, where the making of talks about these "Supernatural" events in the movie that were supposed to freak you out but just made you gag at the creators who seem to be choking on the shit their tossing you.
I just felt that the finale could have been really cool, but they instead decided to leave many questions unanswered like the first film. Luckily, the audience didnt buy into it and the film flopped. Maybe now they will see to it that we get answers, and stop dicking us around.

I liked the first Blair Witch,the second was ok to watch but not as good as the first.
