Copied and pasted from B-D.com.
It was only a matter of time, Freddy did it, Jason did it and now Pinhead will get his two-seconds of fame. "Hellraiser," the Clive Barker-created horror film series best known for its pinheaded title character, is bound for TV as an hour-long series, according to Variety. Read on for the story...
Variety reports, "Panacea Entertainment, Park Avenue Entertainment and Blueprint Entertainment are behind the project.
Larry Kuppin, whose New World Entertainment hatched the first two "Hellraiser" films, will exec produce with Eric Gardner.
In the series, a tabloid journalist stumbles onto a plot between the ghoulish Pinhead and a zillionaire software magnate that would have dire consequences for mankind.
While Dimension Films continues to own feature franchise rights, Gardner has repped the property since Kuppin reacquired the New World film library from Ronald Perelman in 1991.
WMA is packaging the series, which Blueprint likely will co-finance. A showrunner will be named shortly to script a pilot episode.
"The mythology of the character and the series has been worked out slowly over the years," Kuppin said. "Pinhead is one of the most branded characters in the horror genre. There are all kinds of psychological angles to be explored, along with a good scare."

I think that is what that means..The F13th name anyway.
Pinhead on TV? Where? If it is HBO or something similer it could be good.

I'd like to see this if it were made, but i doubt that the show would be played in Australia. I'd probably have to buy it if it were released on DVD.

Damn, all you people really crap on Inferno, don't you? lol I guess you would have wanted some crappy gore fest repeat of everything that had allready happened in the Hellraiser series.
If this series were on HBo, it could be great.

Ahhh! I just heard plot details, and they suck. From Esplatter.
December 16, 2004 -- Clive Barker's "Hellraiser" is being spun into a TV series, according to Variety. The series will have the character of Pinhead teaming with a software mogul in an attempt to take over the world, with a tabloid reporter as the good guy. Pretty awful sounding, eh? It's being produced by some former New World Pictures execs, with no involvement by Dimension Films, which owns the rights to the Hellraiser film franchise. Also, no involvement yet from Clive Barker or Pinhead himself, Doug Bradley."The mythology of the character and the series has been worked out slowly over the years," executive producer Larry Kuppin (formerly of New World) tells the trade. "Pinhead is one of the most branded characters in the horror genre. There are all kinds of psychological angles to be explored, along with a good scare." ...

If the movies are getting shittier and shittier, a TV series is just going to kill the Hellraiser name and franchise.
