Here is my (haven't seen the movie yet) review.
Just to let you know how I envision it.
Say if I was a director... and has just heard a few things about the movie. Now I want to remake it without even seeing it.
Okay here we go...
I picture this foreign land... mountainous... and dark. It's a neighborhood place however. A priest heads over to a secluded tombstone type rock and out comes Rawhead Rex. He chases the Preist into the nearby church... and slaughters him.
A fire is blazing, as we pull away from the two. We see Rawhead pissing on the corpse.
Now it's the next day and there's an American family talking how good and bad it is to be in Ireland. A father, a mother... and a brother and a sister around nine and ten years old each.
The father goes to work at a bar/mini-motel (weird, huh?) for a small scene laying down some info on last night's mishap. The mother and kids, after that scene, head over to a redneck (lol, Irish rednecks) trailer place. Where several trailers rest peacefully. Not too many people live there but the three visit one of there few friends anyway.
It is a small town so they talk about the mishap last night as well... while not trying to scare the kids.
Anyway... sunset hits, and the father is heading home... while Rawhead slaughters the couple of people still left in the building.
It gets a little too windy, and eerie. The other three in the trailer (whom where about to leave)... decide to stay on that account. A few of the friends of the friend of the family come over.
Now we see the father, who is unkowingly stalked by Rawhead, he comes home to find the front door open. At first we think the monster is in with him... but it turns out it's the priest from the beginning. He tells him all about the monster in detail, then decides to help him find and kill it. So getting equipped with a few kitchen knives and a hunting rifle, the two men head over to the Redneck RV joint... lock themselves in with everyone.
The friends (Irish teenagers) head back to have sex in there shack. Right next to Loch Ness. Rawhead shows up and slaughters the two... as well as another boy who gives chase.
We now see Rawhead come to the RV joint... and now the power goes off.
