But remember the Hitch Hiker died and Leatherface would have probably went back home. The Truck driver may have returned back to the truck and left.

I can honestly say that this movie didn't appeal to me at all. It was too long in between kills. The movie just dragged along. It was a decent film. I'm just not able to watch it more than twice. And I already did so it looks like I'm never watching it again.

This is a low budget piece of garbage that never should have been released!!! Ah, I never liked Leprechaun films either, so we were destined to disagree. lol. And Leather, I believe horror isn't all about kills and gore. It's about power. And this film is unrelenting.

I know that much Bub. However people were telling me, "Dude you have to see this movie it is scary as hell. You will scream aloud at this movie." Well that didn't happen. This movie completely did the opposite. I mean I did scream at the movie. I screamed, "This movie is fucking garbage." No not really. It was decent but it was all just hype.

Well, I've learned this: Never Listen to Hype from Average People. Average people get scared much easier. Listen to websites like Esplatter or BD. Horror fans know good horror. But even if it gets good reviews, walk in prepared for anything.

walk in prepared for anything. That's what I did, but Leather, along with Jason, is one of the most retarded killers ever. Literally!!

The TCM film is also dated. What was shocking then is more tame now. But when it was released, it scared tons of people shitless. This was before Ricky Oh, ichi the Killer and Guinea pig type films flooded the market.

Well, what made Leatherface scarier is the fact he could exist in our world unlike other invincible slashers. The whole film was documentary like and more realistic than any other film in the genre.

Got that right, cause someone like that actually could be alive. I mean, as we speak(type : there could be someone out there like that right now.

That's why the film works. A large percent of horror films are supernatural or unbelievable, while the TCM gave you something to really be scared of: reality.
