I was able to snag me an advance screener copy of GSB and I enjoyed it a lot. It didn't have as much impact to me as the original because, although the actresses are the same, Emily Perkins and Katherine isabelle play completely different characters. It is set in 1800's Canada when Ginger and brigette get seperated from their parents in the woods, they seek refuge in a trading fort. Unfortunetly, the fort is under seige by a race of monsters referred to as The Wendigos. Ginger ends up getting bitten by one, and the two must hide her condition from the men in the fort, since they kill anyone who is bitten. The ending was cool it had a sort of Willard/ Dog Soldiers vibe to it and multiple werewolves means multiple victims! Theres a whole pack of the hairy critters in this one and they get killed in horrific fashions as do the humans, so theres a good heaping of gore. We also get to see what happens when a leech is infected with werewolf blood!  The weakest in the trilogy I thought but still dang good. Grant Harvey, the director uses quick flashes, time lapse and one freaky dream sequence to spice up the film and the old time setting gives it a "Ravenous" vibe, very rustic and gothic at the same time. It's relaeased on September 7th on DVD, so go check it out!  |

right o...two things...
first off, Katherine in FvJ was a body double...that wsnt her..
and in GSB, she's lying naked in bed under the covers and when she gets up we very briefly see her naked from behind...but its an extremely quick shot...so dont blink!

Dammit i wanna see this movie! Rumble, you lucky S.O.B. Do you know if there will be a Boxed set released?
Oh and dont worry about the nude scene going too fast, i have a good pause button. ;D

I highly doubt it....this whole series isnt that popular in America where I live...but Canada has special collectr edition releases for the first two films, so I wouldnt be surprised to see a box set for Canadian fans... The series went on a slow decline I think, but I love all three of them. I'm going to re-buy the official Dvd so I can check out the cool features when its released Ginger Snaps- 9/10 Ginger Snaps 2- 8.5/10 Ginger Snaps Back- 8/10 ;D |

besides, I repeat, the nude scene shows nothing really so its not worth mentioning in my opinion...a brief glimpse of Ginger from behind and thats all really..

** The girls get frightened and run to their rooms**
Reverend (through door): "Dont forget to say your prayers ladies.."
Ginger:"....these people are f**ked!"
