The Crow is the darkest, most beautiful film i have ever seen. Brandon lee Plays Eric Draven geniusly, from extreme moments of sadness to extreme moments of madness. The characters are all well written and each have problems, giving the feeling that nothing has been right since the moment eric died. The score is beautiful and used geniusly with the movie. The movie has almost brought me to tears on several ocassions. It's sheer and utter brilliance from the high octane energy of the shoot out at top-dollars, to the romance between shelly and eric.
The Plot Eric Draven and his wife are horribly murdered. She is beaten and raped, he stabbed, shot, and flung 12 storys to his death. That night a rain started that lasted for a year. untill it was put right. Eric is resurrected by the skull cowboy and the crow the cowboy was cut out of the film (make no mistake that's what this is)
But in the end, and at its core, the Crow is a simple story of Love and what we will do for it. see it. 10/10 possibly the greatest film ever made
Also, for a fun fact, i wrote this listening to "burn" by The Cure, which is what plays as eric puts on the Crow make up.

I thought it was good, but it wasn't as dark as everyone said it was.

One of the best Anti-hero action movies that exists. brandon Lee is just great in this movie, along with Michael Wincott.

The soundtrack is well compiled. I could listen to every song over and over again. One of the best ever released. "It cant rain all the time' is a lovely piece that works well at the film's romantic finale. The new crow movie has big steps to fill and stars David Boreanaz and Eddie Furlong. But we all know it wont even come close to Brandon's swan song. Rest in Peace.
