American Psycho  Plot: Patrick Bateman is a handsome and successful bussiness man. Sickened of his hypocrital bussiness friends and his annoying girlfriend , Bateman finds himself a new style of satisfy his madness by killing people. The movie based in Bret Easton Ellis' best seller, is a perfect masterpiece of suspense, drama and thriller. With an outstanding acting performance, Christian Bale gives Eston ellis' character a new sadistic, sarcastic and insane touch making the movie a whole show. The acting job of Dafoe , Whiterspoon and Leto were average since they shortly appeared onscreen. The direction of Marry Harron captures the insanity and the tortured mind that bateman lives through in the movie. This movies shows us, that we all have American (or european, african, asian , etc..) Psycho urges inside our minds, waiting for the right time to awaken and say goodbye to our normal life... Movie Rating: If you prefer a movie with more story , drama and madness than gore and stupidity, rent this movie, It is worth it. Really worth it. 10 / 10 |

American Psycho is a good movie, perhaps I think it's more funny than it's supposed to be though.

Well, Hatchet, there's more to movies than dumb action. Like character development, story development, introduction to characters, and a setup for the situation.

It's not just sex, there's 3 parts corresponding to sex and they are short. There are more killing and madness.

i thought it was a good movie... theres not much sex in it.. only bateman having a threesome and using coat hangers...then another threesome..then him doing exercises while watching porn...then him telling that girl to wash herself while he watches..and aftr that heres no more well there might be...i can't remember..
but it was a good film..surprising they didn't catch him even when his girlfriend found his diary with aload of scribbles of dead girls and when he even ran out and shot aload of people..and when all the people he was close to started disapearing...but it was ok.. better than the second one..

If you see the TV when Bateman is exercising you will see The Texas Chainsaw Masacre 73' in the TV, Showing the part when leatherface dances with the saw.
