I see that no one has reviewed this film so what the heck. This is one of the greatest horror movies of all time, its a universal classic, a CULT classic, and a must see for every horror fan.
The story goes that Dr. Frankenstein wants to play god, so he makes a human out of dead body parts, with the help of his assistant Egore. The monster goes crazy and starts attacking people, he kills Egore, throws a little girl in the lake (she drowns), and causes other havoc. The father of the girl that drowned calls on the tonws people to help kill the monster for killing his daughter.
So the townspeople corner the monster in a windmill, and set it on fire. Will the monster survive, you find out by watching it.
The makeup for the monster is fabulous, and the overall film did a great job to earn its place in the hall of fame. great job ol' frank, 10 out of 10.

Aside from you, Seed has been the only other member to indicate a love for the original horror classics. I remember really getting shocked when Frankenstein threw that girl into the lake and had her drown. That was taboo even for early cinema!

I love Creature from the Black Lagoon, Frankenstein, Dracula, The Mummy, The Wolfman, The Invisible Man, The Phantom of the Opera, House of Wax, Nosferatu, The Abominable Dr. Phibes, etc. Frankenstein is a great film.

Anyways, I don't get why call frankenstein's monster innicent, and have you noticed that most people think the monster is called Frankenstein? No the monster is called Frankenstein's Monster, Frankenstein is the scientist.

I hate when people do that. Anyhoo, I'm upset films don't have the guts that the makers of Frankenstein had. They actually had the guts to kill a kid! Even offscreen, in movies today, even horror films, kids usually never die. That scene with the girls throwing the flowers in the water is amazing. Truly a horror great.
