[glow=red,4,300]Stephen King's IT[/glow] Plot: A small town is terrorized once again by a demonic clown named "Pennywise", and it's up to 7 adults that already stop him once, to stop him now. The movie is one of Stephen King's best adaptations to the big screen. The movie is great since the beginning, when the now grown up children, remember what happened 30 years ago, when a clownish demon tortured and terrorized them when they were children. The acting is very good, especially Tim Curry as "Pennywise" making the clown a perfect villain and a scary character. In fact, the DVD commentary says that the actors note that Tim Curry's characterization of Pennywise was so creepy and realistic that everyone avoided him during the filming. This movie made a few people jump out of their seats and a few others hate this movie because it's pretty slow. It has unnecessary parts like ben hascom's childhood stuff and other things. This movie was a miniseries lasting 183 minutes, then was divided into two parts to make it short. The filming locations were : Vancouver, Canada New York, Usa British Columbia, Canada Chigago , Illinois, Usa. DVD: The DVD has subtitle options and a crappy commentary as its special features. The DVD is 2 sided, which means you have to turn around the cd to view the other part. So it's ok if you want to see the movie, but the features the DVD has, suck. Trailers: videodetective.com/home.asp?PublishedID=2968Overall: I love this movie, it has a neat atmosphere , great acting, good direction. The only bad points are the slow plot that lasts 183 minutes . [glow=red,2,300]9/10[/glow]

Nice Review, in my opinion slow is good, it gets you set up for the real horror of the movie (The Exorcist is an example). And yes Tim Curry was very good in this movie, its a 10/10 in my book.

I would only give IT an average rating, maybe 5/10. There was really no climax in IT.

The first half was great, the second part was cheesy.

The audio commentary wasn't all that bad.

Well maybe I exagerate it a bit, but if you buy a DVD you excpect good features..I excpected deleted scenes or behind the scenes.

Well maybe I exagerate it a bit, but if you buy a DVD you excpect good features..I excpected deleted scenes or behind the scenes. It's a TV film, getting any extras is lucky. Getting an audio commentary is like the biggest extra feature you could get. Especially since it runs for the full 3 hours. I too found the movie slow at times. There were scenes i felt could have easily been cut out to better pace the film. Too much time spent on the kids and their friendship. Get to the story already!
Tim Curry was superb as always.
