The review isn't that big, but I wanted it to be simply a sample, I want to leave the hard work to the actual 'reviews', if you don't like it Chucky just tell me because I'll make the review of your dreams.
Region 1 Review
The Blair Witch Project - Special Edition
The Plot:
In October of 1994, three filmakers disapeared in the woods of Maryland after trying to shoot a documentary on the infamous Blair Witch, it is said that a year later their footage was found.
The Movie:
The movie is a masterpiece, its creepy, its scary, and its more realistic then any other film you've ever seen. The film itself is mostly shot in H18 camera, which gives it a form of realism.
The movies was directed by Daniel Myrick, and was co-directed by Eduardo Sanchez. Which shot the careers of both filmakers into horror movie fandom. Daniel said that he was going for a normal, and successful horror film, they never realized they changed horror forever.
Alot of people would believe the actual story, but if you thought more logical you'd realize that the police wouldn't let you view the last few days of a persons life. In matter of fact as I was viewing the movie, for a second there I was actually believing what was happening, it was just too real not to be real.
The three main characters: Josh, Mike, and the girl played greatly throughout the movie, all three of them stayed to acting as themselves. Some of the better scenes of this movie were when the girl runs out of the tent and see's something which makes her scream, the confession scene, the infamous pile of sticks, discovering the stick men hanging in the trees, and the end which left you with your mouth open. Its truly affective to watch it at night, you won't be able to sleep.
Rating: 5
The DVD:
The dvd is awesome, it contains stuff like: the deleted scenes, commentary, production notes, cast and crew information, teasers and trailers, and the mini documentary "Curse of The Blair Witch Mythology". Also look for easter eggs throughout the dvd.
Rating: 5
