Ok so my reviews will be int the same format as Scarwolfs Territory...
Club Dread 2004 D: Jay Chandrasekhar**Starring: Brittany Daniel (Jenny), Daniel Hefferman (Lars), Bill Paxton (Coconut Pete), Jay Chandrasekhar (Putman)**Synopsis: Partiers on Pleasure Island begin to die when a masked killer wreaks havoc...but this time...its funny!**My Rating: 6.5/10 Paws Up**Splatter Factor: 4/7 Standard slashings and slit throats. But theres also a severed head and a cool scene with a guy split in half.**Acting: 5/10 Well we get what you'd expect! Stupid performances similar to other trapped-on-an-sland-with-a-killer-thing movies but this film is a comedy which justifies the cheesy performances. Paxton is especially memorble in a funny, if over-the-top role as the drunken Coconut Pete!**My Thoughts: A unique film from the Broken Lizard crew...it takes the slasher genre and spits on it contorting the film into a parody style film. Its fun, rude, gory and contains all the elements for a good slasher. However the comedy doesn't always work and it falls too routine at times. Approach with caution! **bottom Line: Sometimes funny (the PacMan scene is hilarious!) and surprisingly bloody! But only recommended for those who can understand and tolerate the old slasher formula and lots of dumb gags! ** Jordan Ladd (Cabin Fever) is also featured** The Second feature film for the Broken Lizard troupe (the first being Super troopers). Rated R
