Bill Clinton may have been an ass, but he was a good president. He got the defecit lower than any other time before, and now Bush has raised the defecit levels higher than any other time in US history. And I'm not saying Kerry is a genious, he isn't, but Bush certainly isn't either. I seconed that! BTW some how I knew this post was going to cause a debate lol

To take out a man who is a known terrorist, known to support terrorists, had weapons of mass destruction at one time, and killed several thousand of his own people for no real reason besides they didn't like him. Yes, were such pricks for stopping him. After 9/11 Bush pledged to wipe terrorism off the face of the earth, and everyone was cool with that, then when it actually happens and it becomes an unpopular decision with the media, everyone else wants to follow suit.

Dude, he's just making other Middle Eastern countries hate us more.
By sticking our nose into Iraq, other countries think now, even more than before, that we stick our noses into everybody else's buisness. Not to mention Haleburton, a company Cheny is chief executive officer for, is making millions of dollars in Iraq providing transportation. Jee, why do you think Cheny wanted to go to Iraq?
But just to prevent this from turning into a flame thread, I stop here.

No flaming, we have an honest political conversation. No problems with that.
Ask an normal Iraqi about our occupancy and they like it, they like the fact they dont have a madman in power, that they can now be free. There will always be those against freedom, but we should not stop fighting those people. Saddam out of power makes the world a better place. End.

Saddam is a good man to be out of power, but Bush said he went in because "he has weapons of masss destruction." Then he said "Saddam may have weapons of mass destruction." Then he said "Saddam may have had instruments to make weapons of mass destruction."

Saddam is a good man to be out of power, but Bush said he went in because "he has weapons of masss destruction." Then he said "Saddam may have weapons of mass destruction." Then he said "Saddam may have had instruments to make weapons of mass destruction." Iraq did, at one time, have weapons. Once weapons inspectors really got on their asses, they started to move them out. Our intelligence officers overestimated what they had, and our President, weather you agree with it or not, had to do what presidents do, make a decision. On top of Saddam being linked to many terrorists, a race of people we vowed to wipe off the face of this earth, we went there. Everyone wants to say going over there was a big mistake and its proven...proven by what?? The countless liberal media outlets?? Fact is we took out a mass murdering terrorist, and we have gotten the wheels of democracy to begin rolling in a country that has been oppressed for generations. Think about it, say your a doctor, you make a pill you believe will cure AIDS. After extensive research, you find it really doesn't work on the AIDS virus, BUT, you find its the cure for cancer. You may not have been aiming for that, but you did a shitload of good. Thats what I think about the war in Iraq. They moved out their weapons, hid what they can, but if you look at the bigger picture, this could be the start of an entire revolution, where people in the middle east dont have to live under evil dictators, where they share the same freedoms we do. I dunno about you, but even if we did find a shitload of weapons, I'd still be more happy with taking out Saddam and instilling a bit of freedom in a people that have been oppressed their entire lives. I know that makes me among a minority of people my age, but then again, most people my age dont know their ass from a hole in the ground. BTW, Metal, if your gonna interject yourself into this conversation, come up with some of your own points, like Bub. If you are just gonna agree, at least elaborate on why you agree.
