freezing makes sense, if you can't kill it freeze it. Thta happened to  Jason but he thawed out and came back. |

no the priest was planning on releasing it as an "act of god" Sequel but it probably blew at the box office so asequel was a no-no

because people expect sequelstofarsurpass the original. alot of pressure is put on the director to make sequels better than the first. i can really only think of a few movies that have actually been better than the original, but still, along with alot of pressure, they usually end up doing something entirely different with the story, and ends up being really really crappy...

H5 is a good one, it help leads to the end of the Michael/Jamie "feud"(even though Mike kills Jamie in H6).
