He makes a good action star. I dont know about good acting ability, but i guess he has some to make it into a spielberg movie. On the Pitch Black commentary, he sounds like an asshole though.

He is? I thought thatas just a rumor! well I dont like Vin as a regular actor but as an action star he's pretty cool. and Chronicles of Riddick was really cool...but no hes not a good actor...just a good action star which means he really just has to beat up bad guys, dodge explosions and spout off a cheesy quip now and then!

He is not an actor, he is an action star and most like other action stars he is not a great actor.

The same can be said for most action stars, such as Stallone and Van Damme. Arnold has an average ability to act but it's not the greatest.

Van Damme and Steven Seagal aren't actors, just presences. Vin Diesel is the same. Good action star but no acting ability.

Seagal is the least famous, too. He hasn't really mde any really famous action films.

I saw one of his films, Half Past Dead. He kind of looks like that Belushi actor (The one still alive)

He's a great action figure. But if you would put him in a romantic comedy, I'm sure that it would like totally flop!
Only his voice would be over the top in a melodramatic movie. But for the action scenes, he's great! Btw, he's not gay.

akasha, i have to say he seems pretty gay, do have some info to back your claim or is it one of those "i think he's cute so he can't be gay" type of things?
