Just bought the DVD today. Damn excellent movie. I look at it as being a comedic tragedy. The first I heard about Bubba I thought (based on the plot outline) that it was going to be strange for the sake of being strange, nothing more. But they managed to actually add a lot of meaning and substance behind its strangeness. Fuck it, the word I am looking for is 'unique' or 'original'. God knows when I last saw such a unique film.

I saw something unique today. It was a cartoon with a sponge that was alive and it lived underwater. A sponge! Living underwater! It had grandpa pants and lived in a coconut! WTF!
