The whole theater moaned during the twist. Like: WTF! I payed for this sh... What a stupid movie... You were scared hahaha? I was like the only one who said: Hey, I kinda liked it. It's Shyamalan, you know. He did it with the Sixth Sense too.

Kinda. They were living most their lives livin in an amish paradise. did they churn butter once or twice, livin in an amish paradice? ahaha... classic... i never saw the village, it didnt look too bad, but now that everyone says it has good acting, a few jumps and a horrible ending, it doesnt really make a difference... oh, and for the record, i laughed through signs like it was supposed to be a comedy

did they churn butter once or twice, livin in an amish paradice? Well, a local boy kicked me in the butt last week I just laughed at him, and I turned the other cheek I really don't care, in fact I wish him well Cause I'll be laughing my head off while he's burning in hell!

I thought "The Village" was a real good movie. I can sorta see way people would dislike it, but I thought it was solid.

This movie was a piece of shit. I don't understand anything that happened in the end. I do understand why they secluded themselves from the World, but I don't understand what they were going for in the end. Can someone help me out here?
Other then that, this movie was such a snoozefest. I almost fell asleep. Went too long. Go see AVP, or fuck, even the Yu-Gi-Oh movie. Better than this garbage.

The movie was OK, the things that I don't liked was the damn ending that no one understood, the DISSAPOINTING things that happen..(why? I was getting excited about the unspeakeables..). Maybe the reasons to see tihs movie are the excellent acting and the jumps you make at times.

I really enjoyed this movie and even jumped a couple of times, I think Adrien Brody played his character really well I also liked the idea of your own little village away from the rest of the world.

***SPOILERS
All the elders of the village had lost a loved one to some sort of violence within the city. That is why they decided to live in seclusion from the outside world; so as to live within a peaceful environment. And obviously create the creatures, so as to keep people from leaving; so they don't get hurt themselves (by the violence of the city), or discover the truth of the false village and spread word of it throughout the village..... does this help? Is this what you were asking?
again... I really liked "The Village", though like I've said before, I'm obviously one of the few....

This movie confused the hell out of me. I was like WTF? I thought it took place in the 19th century then when I saw the cop that pulled up. Again I was like WTF?
Just when I thought I understood it, the movie confused me. And I am not easily confused. It was a decent movie. A movie that makes you think more than it scares you.

Just when I thought I understood it, the movie confused me. And I am not easily confused. It was a decent movie. A movie that makes you think more than it scares you. SPOILERS! The movie took place in present times. The adults of the community had all experianced a large tragedy that made them decide to create a village of their own away from all the real world so their children didn't have to experiance the suffering of the real world.

I know that now but at the time I thought it was like the 19th century.
