This is the message:

To all Fight Evil members,
I'm afraid the site will be closing down
for a number of reasons beyond my control, mainly because I need to raise a
lot of funding to keep the site running every month. As you may know I've
also got a lot of college work to get done before Xmas which makes it
impossible to run this site at the same time.

There's also other reasons, such as the current problem we've been having
recently with idiots leaving immature messages on the site. There's only so
much I can do to clean up the site but members are now deserting the site
and it's too much aggro to bring everyone back.

Therefore from today can I ask everyone to not leave any more messages on
the boards. I'm hoping to sell the site to a friend of mine over the net and
it's too much hassle having to keep deleting all the new messages. Thank you
for your co-operation and most of all thank you for all your help on the
boards. I'll keep all your email addresses on file so if I can open another
site I'll make sure I invite you all. However this won't be for at least 6
months. Thanks again, and see you around...Chucky.
