I've decided to hold a competition in which 8 people will have the chance to win. Of course this is where you write up your own horror story, I'll post it along with 7 other stories from other people.
You'll go head to head with other people. Kind of like your story versus their story. Once it comes down to the last 2 people, the winner will have their story kept on the site and the rest will be tossed until the next competition.
I think it will be a lot better to do it this way...

That way people will only have to read 2 and decide which is better instead of reading them all and maybe forget which one they liked best, with this you'd just have to vote for what you liked better.

Well, I guess if you want to be in it you can apply now. I'll make the final decision on which 8 stories are chosen.
Requirements:
You must be a registered user on this message board.
In between 1,000 and 2,000 words.
Must be your own work.
Must involve at least one known horror character.
It's your responsibility to fix up mistakes in your story, not mine. If there's a spelling error or anything else, don't expect me to change it for you.
