This morning around 1am Server 2 ran in to serious issues, we ran a file system check and brought the server back online for a few hours, unfortunately the server has died again and won't boot up after several attempts. We will be restoring all websites from our backup server on to a new server today, backups are from 4am Saturday morning. We expect recovery to take several hours, Please note that all DNS entries will change as well and it may take some time for sites to resolve. This is the fist time in our history we have had to restore from backups, we apologise for the inconvenience that this has caused. We hope to have all sites back online prior to Monday.
This suggests that we will miss approximately 24 hours of stuff that was posted on FE. Though when they did have the server back up and running for those "few hours", I did sneak on and backup the forum database during that time, so I think we won't lose anything.
If my backup doesn't work for whatever reason, we will have only lost the last 24hrs worth of posts.
