Ok Ok, now polls only allow up to eight options. I just picked the first seven that came to mind and left the eighth slot open for any movie I didnt have room to mention. So you shoulda picked "Somethin Else" - El Lobo ;D

Some other good ones include: "Salem's Lot" (directed by Tobe Hooper, "Misery", "Silver Bullet", "The Langoliers", and "Needful Things" (starring Max von Sydow of "Exorcist" fame).
Also there's "The Green Mile", "Stand by me", and "The Shawshank Redemptions" which aren't horror films, but are still good.

I am a fan of most of King's movies (The Shining, IT, Misery, The Stand, Shawshank Redemption, Green Mile)
Though the Shining is my favorite horror movie, this poll vote goes to IT because it was scarier and had a better plot. Wait, I just realized IT is my favorite horror movie now.

Pet Semetary
I would love to see the Talisman (King and Peter Straub) as a movie, of course it would have to be a mini series or else it wouldn't work. I loved the characters, especially Wolf.
