Frailty

I just bought Frailty for 7$ ;D I do indeed love good deals. I thought it was a great movie. Slow but great. Any thoughts? - E Lobo

I really liked Frailty, myself. I enjoyed the story and the characters and I thought it had an interesting ending.

It was a decent film but Bill Paxton seems to annoy me with that voice of his in some of the movies he's in.

It's not the movies that annoy me, it's Paxton himself. He's annoying (not saying he's a bad actor/director) but I didn't like him too much in Frailty (although the movie was decent) and I also thought he was quite annoying in Aliens.

There are other films out there that I have seen him in but these 2 annoy me the most about him.

Paxton rocks. He may not be a class-A actor like Anthony Hopkins, but he is quite capable of acting. In Aliens he played an annoying character to perfection - a soldier who acts tough in the beginning but wimps out when the sh*t hits the fan. Anyway, Frailty is an awesome film, well executed with a nice twist at the end.

Yes, though I thought he was supposed to annoy the other people in the film only, not the people watching the film. ;D

Dont' know if you have seen Weird Science, Chucky, but Paxton's character in that movie is pretty annoying as well.
