At Best Buy I saw a copy of Army of Darkness but it was packeaged like a brown paper bag. It was called " Bruce Campbell vs. The Army of Darkness: The Director's cut (Special Bootleg Edition)". On the back it had a note written "To all you primitive screwheads" from "Bruce "Dont call me Ash" Campbell".
Anywayz, I was wondering if anyone happend to know what makes this one differetn from The Boomstick edition of Army of Darkness. Thanx! - El Lobo
PS I have 25$, Im only 10 from buying the Book of the Dead edition!! ;D

I have the "Bootleg Edition" but I haven't seen the Boomstick Edition to compare. The Bootleg Director's cut is supposedly a longer version (96 min) of Army with 15 more minutes and includes the original ending.
As for the Evil Dead "Book of the Dead" edition, Swiftandgrey mentioned in another thread, a special edition DVD which sounds alot better than the BOTD (which is the copy I have). The Book of the Dead was to include Sam Raimi's first film "Within the Woods" but was exclued. There is a rumour that another edition will someday be released that will include "Within the Woods", but it's just a rumour, nothing definite.
