I finally got The Book of the Dead! And I proved I have too much free time as I spent 45 min trying to decode the kandarian text in the book. Anyone who has the book and cant figure it out, heres the translations:
*Pg.1- "dedicated to those who bled for "The Evil Dead" and their families, friends and fans."
*Pg 2- "For you scholars out there, this is the aincient language of Bullskritaka (?) as font of the dead. I hope you enjoy decoding this as much as I did. Read on"
* There's a small phrase on page 2 between two drawings that reads : "Your ad here."
*Pg.3- " I can draw skulls all day long."
*Pg.4- "Employees must wash hands before returning to workplace. Thanks!"
*Pg.5- "Bow down before me and beg fo' (this is followed by a drawing of a corpse which I guess means "Beg fo' death"...)
* On Page 5 theres a drawing of a severed head. On closer examination you can see it's a caricature of director Sam Raimi. The caption reads: "Hey, it's Sam!"
*Pg.6- This page shows an arm gradually decomposing and the text reads: "Raw...Medium...Rare"
*Pg.7- "Get a load"
*There's a picture of a winged monster and the text reads: "Flying Deadites...Tom must be psychic".
*Pg.8- Theres a map of Kandar and the inscription reads "Visit lovely Kandar castle".
*Pg.9- Drawings of severed eyeballs " Not scientifically accurate. Gross huh?"
*Pg.10- This one was hard. I think it says "Been reel kids. Make movies not war".
