Something I found at Horror Avenue... I laughed my ass off.
-Does anyone notice that Roger Ebert is just a terrible critic, and he’s especially bad for horror films? He gives this film an "F" and states "The new version of ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ is a contemptible film: Vile, ugly and brutal. There is not a shred of a reason to see it." If you don’t expect that from a horror movie, don’t go see it you opinionated, vile, ugly, brutal critic. Judging from what you expect, maybe Leatherface, a serial killer should prance around in a pretty pink robe, and throw roses to all of his fans. Ebert’s an ass.-

All critics hate horror, maybe because they are the outlaws of the movie industry.

his review of "Wec Craven's New Nightmare" isn't so bad if I remember correctly.... but yes Ebert does often hate horror movies, in fact I'm pretty sure "I Spit on your Grave" is his least favorite movie ever...

like most critics they say stuff for money, and try to say it snappy, there are rare critics out there that do it for the love of the job.

He also liked Ravenous and Dawn of the Dead (not the remake). However, he did give low ratings to Hellraiser and The Hitcher so poop on him!

K all critics always will favour their favourite favourite types of movies. Thats why its better to have a couple critcs instead of one.

TCM: Next Generation was pretty bad. From what I have heard, the new TCM was pretty damn good.
