Honestly, it's the guys god damned opinion. It's just another one of those gay fanboys that would give blowjobs to someone if the person was a producer in a favorite horror movie. There's a reason why Ebert has been the number one movie critic since the 70's. This looks more like a baby crying for milk to me. So what if he does not like horror movies, he has given them good ratings. I didn't like the new TCM either, as so did other normal people. If I remember right, he gave Critters *** and Critters was an overall good movie. And from what I have seen, he gives bad ratings to movies like Jason Takes Manhatten. In my opinion, he gives an opinion that most other normal people also have. That's why I also trust him on what his opinion is, before I decide to see a movie. Sure, there are movies that in hindsight were good, but got bad reviews from him(Erik The Viking being one.) but really, there is a reason why he has been the number one movie critic for some time now.
Like I said before, looks like a baby crying for spilt milk here.

This is how most movie critics are now a days, they are very narrowminded and wouldn't know a good horror movie if it bit them in the ass.Being in the movie buisness, as an actor, or director, or a movie critic you have to have an open mind to all kinds of movies not just say "Well this movie was very vile and sick, I couldn't stomach it." That's a good thing.If the director of a film can actully make people sick during the movie that means their FX artsit did one hell of a fucking job on the work there and not just some low budget work.Roger Ebert is an old man, he's also very narrow-minded and to open up to new movies.TCM remake was an amazing movie, it certainly changed the future of horror and allowed kids and more people into the horror category once more.You wouldn't belive how many people in my school love horror movies, and mostly all they talk about it the newer ones but still, if you watch the newer ones your bound to rent out some olders ones as well.What i'm really trying to say here is most of these film critics are overpaid crooks and don't know shit about movies.

Ebert wouldnt know a good horror movie even if he played in it.. and whats a critic neways?? its "someone that cant do wut u do so they criticize ur shit like they are experts"-martin lawrence.................... but ya... he needs to stop... and rethink pursuing a different career i dont care how old he is

My god. IT'S THE GUYS OPINION, DON'T RAPE HIM FOR IT! Jesus, not alot of people liked the movie besides gorefest fans. That's why it had poor cash at the box office. Have a brain guys.
