I'm just curious if anyone has ever seen this film. It stars Dani Filth (of Cradle of Filth), and is directed by Alex Chandon. I've always wanted to see it, but am worried about it being crap.

I bought Cradle Of Fear (the 2 hour gore version) on DVD for my wife's birthday last year. She likes the movie though she may be biased because she likes Cradle Of Filth. I however thought it had it's good moments and it's bad moments. If you don't like extremely cheesy movies, you won't like it.
It's also one of those movies where it makes you feel like you're watching a TV series instead of an actual movie. The movie is set out into 4 mini stories (I think it was 4). Even though Dani Filth seems to be the star of the movie, he's not really in it all that much, he just pops up from time to time to do something weird.
If I had to rate it, I'd probably give it a 6/10.

Ah, cradle of fear.I bought this DVD about..3 months ago.I didn't care to much for the actors but I liked the way they filmed it.The gore was great and they way they filmed it was like you were actully there, live.Dani was a good actor and the plot to the movie was pretty good.overall this movie deserves a 8.5/10

Dani was a good actor and the plot to the movie was pretty good. I wouldn't say that he's a good actor. I'm thinking that I could pull any average goth off of the street and they'd give the same performance. He didn't have too much time on screen to show off his acting skills anyway and from what I recall, he doesn't talk during the movie (but I can't remember for sure). |
