Anyone planing in purchasing this set? I don't like a lot jason movies...but, a boxed set with 8 movies that you hardly can find...  . The boxed set titled "Friday the 13th : From Crystal Lake to Manhattan", have the 1st movie to "Jason goes Manhattan"(Don't know the real tittle  ) contains 5 discs. The Realease date is October 5, 2004 Region 1 (U.S. and Canada only. This DVD will probably NOT be viewable in other countries. DVD Features: - Audio Commentary in Part 3,6,7 and 8.
- A featurrete "Tales from the cutting room" with deleted scenes
- "The Friday The 13th Chronicles" featurette as a tribute to this legacy.
- "Secrets galore behind the gore" featurrete with 3 parts of the make up and s/x made in the movies with Tom Savini!
- "Crystal Lake Victims Tell All" a featurrete of the cast and crew of the movies
- "Friday artifacts and Cholectibles" Toys and merchandise of the movies
- Theatrical Trailer of the 8 movies except Jason Lives..

Definately getting this One Freddy, lots of people don't like these movies that much but I love them, especially the first three they were awesome. Then again I love slasher flicks.  |

This is the Set i have been waiting for! Deleted scenes too! I gotta save a spot on the shelf for this bad boy. Friday 3 & 6 are some faves of mine.

I'm still undecided, as I already own all these films. So basically I'd be buying supplemental material, and I'm not sure I want to spend all the money.... I probably won't end up getting it, at least not now; I'll most likely wait til it's much cheaper before I purchase it.

Oh man, I ordered it as soon as I found out about it:
this is a horror series - granted, it has its highs and its lows - that really deserved box set / special edition treatment.
i have yet to check out all of the extras but I am SO looking forward to it
the "FRIDAY THE 13TH" series RULES!
