I gave Tobe Hooper a slot because of "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" alone. He's done some other good films too, but yes I agree he's totally overrated. However, he's overrated because he made (in my opinion) the best horror film in the history of film, and to me that deserves a spot. Not to mention that two people voted for him so obviously people do like him.

Hooper is very overrated. However, I like his story in Carpenter's "Body Bags".

I think that Hooper is a great story teller and does deserve some recognition.

 So good many choices... Wes Craven Scream, NOES, Music from the heart, Wescraven'sNewN. Craven did Freddy too. Did he do FvJ? It doesn't seem quite as good, so I doubt it, but... |
