Carrie was remade 2 years ago. I got the DVD remake. It was made for TV. Carrie was played by Angela Bettis (you may know her as May from "May").

It seems Carrie was remade in 2002, 4.7/10 on IMDB. Not as good as the original then...

I want to see BADLY this movie remaked.. CujoYes "Cujo"! "Cujo" is my favorite horror movie ever! Its not scary but I just love it for some wild reason. I don't own it but I do have a copy of it made from TV. I would like to see what they would do with a re-make of "Cujo". They would have to get some other shitty ass car thou. I meen, how would they get a Pinto?

Christine is great. We don't need a shitty remake.

It seems Carrie was remade in 2002, 4.7/10 on IMDB. Not as good as the original then... I thought you said the people on IMDB were idiots, lol. I don't want to see any other remakes done. Period. Someone has to get some new ideas for horror movies. I'm sick of remakes.

"I thought you said the people on IMDB were idiots, lol."
A lot of them are.
And I agree, lets just get some original stuff and no more copies of what's already been done.

I am normally against remakes, but there are a few films that have significant flaws that could be ironed out in a remake.
Peeping Tom - Wow! What a dark and disturbing premise for a film. However, the acting was way off. It was too bouncey and light like in a Disney movie. Fix the acting and you've got a great film.
Demons - Again, great idea, but I kept thinking (especially during the motorcycle carnage) of how great this would have been as a comedic gorefest in the vain of Bad Taste and Dead-Alive.
Last House on Dead End Street - They had that raw disgusting and vile idea...it was perfect, but they failed on the execution. It was too amateurish, the dubbing was way off, the video quality even on the 2 disc DVD is horrible.
Last House on the Left - Take any hint of humour out of the story and you've got a masterpiece.

Oh yes, that one too...throuhg that John Carpenter's work on the music and direction was very good..I think the "lepers" should be remade..
