Which moive made you really start to like or love horror in general..not saying the first horror movie you watched, though that could be the one but which movie or movies made you go..I want to see more. Like if you saw a few crappy ones then you say lets say F13th part 3, which made you want to find the rest of them and got you hooked on horror. The two for me are NOES part one, The first Horror movie I saw that I was old enough to remember, saw it at a sleepover, I was really young, I remember that I and few others had to call our parents and ask if we could watch it. That got me hooked on Horror and Freddy forever, one of the reasons why Freddy is my fave serial Slasher. The other big movie, the one that got me on to other genres then slashers was Lost Boys, still one of my all time faves, some people see it as hocky and not scary but I love this movie, to this day if I see it on, I will stop everything and watch it, even though I have seen it hundreds of times.

Interesting to know that all films that attracted moviegoers (on this site - so far) into watching this kind of stuff were all from the mind of Craven.
Craven has a way of bringing in an audience, young or old.

I would have to say the Jason movies. I saw the first one when I was like 5, and they were first coming out. I also saw other movies that I thougvht were cool, like the Exorcist, but there is one that I can't recall the name of.
It's about a woman that gives birth to monster babies, and they kill people. It was creepy, but cool. I got into horror movies with that one most, though I can't think of the name.

I've always pretty much been into horror, but just not as much as i am now.
I guess the main factor that got me into horror was Stephen King movies and TV- Movies, i used to watch each and every Stephen King movie that was on and it eventually lead to an "obsession" with horror.

I was always interested in horror, and I started with seeing the Universal Classic Monster Films, which I love, and the 50s Giant Monster/Bug films, which I also love. Then I got into more modern horror, and I love modern horror films of the 70s and 80s just as much if not more than the others.

Yeah, Bobo, it's The Brood. I really liked it and made you watch it even though you cried like a baby.
