What are everyone's thoughts on "28 Days Later", and score out of 10 (no .5's please). Please remember a score out of 10.
Danny Boyle's english masterpiece doesn't get the credit I think it deserves. It's fairly original (if you don't think of "the infected" as zombies), the style is great (is there anything more eeries than the streets of London being completely empty?; nope!), the music great. From top to bottom "28 Days Later" is a remarkable film.
My Score: 9/10
Scores will be collected until Monday, when we talk about week #8's film.
Week #8 Film: "Nosferatu"

I actually found 28 Days Later to be the best zombie film in modern years (well thats if you count the infected as zombies). Plus at times this film provided great scares and thrills and that feature is not common in modern horror films.
9/10

A great horror film. Though it did take from other films, 28 Days had taut well done acting, magnificent direction from Danny Boyle, a gritty visual style, and likeable characters. Many situations were similar to the Romero films (the military and their pet zombie was reminiscent of Day of the Dead), but hell, it was still great. Just as good or better than Danny Boyle's other effort, Shallow Grave.
9/10

You know people said this movie sucks. And without me seeing it I kind of agreed with them. However, when I actually took the time to actually watch the movie I loved it. It was great. Erie settings, great acting, great effects. Brilliant movie. One of the best "zombie" movies I have ever seen. And the special features on the DVD kicks ass too.
9/10

Eh, he said no .5's I hate the Danny Boyle feel to the movie but overall it was still a somewhat anjoyable romp that I may watch again sometime in my life. I'd better since it would have been a waste to buy that DVD. 7/10

the movies ok iv seen much beter. i thought the acting was ok and a decint story line . i liked the fact that they were fast moveing infected people rather than slow moving boring zombies. the one thing that killed this movie for me was the stuppied charecter actions at times. but overall deciant an 8/10
