Honorable Mentions (5 other horror films you thought were good)- Saw, Open Water, Hellboy, The Bunker, Deathwatch (neither The Bunker or Deathwatch were made this year, but they were released on DVD this year)
Best Special Effects- Hellboy
Best Cast- Shaun of the Dead
Best Actor- Christian Bale (The Machinist) (haven't seen it, but loosing that much for a role is worthy enough for me)
Best Actress- Sarah Polley (Dawn of the Dead)
Best Script- Shaun of the Dead
Best Director- James Wan (Saw)
Best Direct to Video Release- The Bunker
