Movie starts off with a jogger getting stalked by the headless horseman while jogging, in what is possibly the worst scene in the entire movie. Even i recognized the shitty acting and i own Leprechaun in Space! The setting was really dark that its really hard to see much. This is shot on someones shitty camcorder it looks like.
Its then followed by a scene of students in detention getting their punishment told to them. This scene almost beats the intro as worst but isnt as hard to see. The dialogue is crap and you will find yourself sticking your ear against the speaker to even make out what they say.
We then have the students escorted to the woods for some community service crap and the movie goes into drama mode as we hear such sad stories these students are in, and believe me, your wishing for the horseman to arrive and kill these whiny fucks off ASAP!
The kills suck balls and sometimes you cant even tell there was a murder. Example: Girl looks up at horseman, horseman swings sword upwards (remember, the girl is below him) then we see her rolling downhill and it seems she just fell back. But nope. What really happened was he cut her head off.
Another scene has the horseman do a kung fu leap over the gangsta student while you hear a swoosh and then see our hero drop down wounded.
Very bad cinematography, even for B movie standards. Audio stinks and is barely even audible. And lastly, the acting is horrid.
The horseman isnt as cool as in other outings. Here, he is a guy wearing a pumpkin mask and hobo clown clothes. Yes, you heard that right. A pumpkin mask. And he wields a sword. It was weird watching him do kung fu moves when trying to kill his victims also. He would be good to pit against Trevor moorehouse and the killer from the Pool in a battle of killer losers, though.
I love B-movie crap, but even this was pushing my limits.
On a side note, my friend pointed out on my reciept that the cashier completely forgot to charge me for the DVD! Considering i bought 7 DVD's, i guess this one slipped his mind. So the good news is, i didnt PAY for this crap. The bad news? I cant take it back.
