Broken Lizard's second outing explores the horror genre this time, leaving the canadian borders for a hawaiian getaway resort. All the cast from Super Troopers are present here and somewhat miscast. Jay Chandrasekhar plays a jamaican Dj here to less than humorous results. The biggest peeve though is the miscasting of Kevin Heffernan who was great as the disgruntled, psychotic of Super Trooper but is mainly subdued and calm here. The film takes place on a tropical island resort where people start getting murdered one by one. The usual kills for a parody are here, you know, the raising of the knife, a scream, then cut to the next scene. No gore. Shame, since they didnt seem to try for a pg rating with all the titty action going on. Why not show some blood? The film has some hilarious moments, but they seem to be stretched too far apart. Overall, if you were a fan of Super Troopers, this will satisfy you as well. ;D

Hmmm, Omega, you just made me realize i spent the entire review on the negative aspects i found. My bad. I didnt hate the movie, i actually had a good time. But i see i focused solely on the faults. Sorry.
