True I think the score (or therin lack of) was a really godd factor for the creepiness! I say the original is scarier but the remake has more action. ;D

The original had incredible sound effects and score. And omega, I completely agree with your opinion. You're not supposed to see Leatherface's face! It makes him a cooler character.

But everyones forgetting that we have also seen Jasons and Michaels face aswell, so whats the problem with seeing Leatherface's face?

The thing that didn't bother me when you saw Myers face is that he was a normal looking guy. When you see Jason's face, it's a messed up zombie guy. Why did they feel the need to make Leatherface all messed up looking? Being a remake of a movie that pushed the limits to seem real, that took out all the realism.

I noticed that Jason's true face seems to look different in almost every film. I think it was Part 2 or 3 when he looked just like Sloth from the Goonies!  |
