Oh yes, Georgie. They float.....Stephen King's It is possibly the film that scared more horror fans when they were young than any other horror film ever made. It is simply nightmarish, and scares a little part of us all. Acting: Pretty good all around here. Tim Curry gives a deliciously evil perfomance as Pennywise the Clown. He is truly a horror icon. The kid actors are great as well, and most of the adult actors are great, too. Good in this category. Special FX: Okay. The stop motion animation didn't bother me. The werewolf and mummy makeup was good. Pennywise's makeup and the corpses looked good, too. The big problem is that spider from the end of the film. Directing: Pretty good. The scene in the begining with Georgie and Pennywise is fantastic. Good job here. Overall: It is one of the best adaptations of a Stephen King book. Creepy, well done, and atmospheric, Its only letdown is the corny ending. But still, Stephen King's It is a fantastic film. Float down to the video store and rent this film. Rating: 9/10

I love this film!. My favorite of all time. Pennywise is one of the best villains ever made, more than any character of horror(for exception of hannibal). His clownish form is devolish and scary. Killing children and torture them with their fears.

Hannibal is a fantastic villian:
"Did you breast feed her?" "Yes, I did." "Toughened your nipples, didn't it?"
"Cut off a man's leg and he can still feel it tickling. Tell me senator, when they bring in your daughter on a slab, where will it tickle you?"

This is THE movie that scared me more than any movie I ever saw. Especially the part with the inhaler in the sewer. It is the most horrifying movie I've seen.

Killer klowns from outer space began my fear of clowns. I got very discomfortable around them. But Stephen King's IT really put the icing on the cake.
Tim Curry did such a good job as P...P...p...pennywise that it scarred me for life.
