Well I, and I know there are others, think that not only hillbillies suck, but a retarded killer does not deserve any credit. I mean, it probably wouldn't be so hard to outsmart them. Many realistic killers have mental problems and are demented. That's why TCM was more realistic than a standard stalk-and-slash or a wisecracking "horror" chracter sequel.

The two retarded characters that I can think of are Leatherface and Jason, and they just kill people for the heck of it. They're movies are really boring. They'd make the perfect couple.

Dude, Jason has no motive at all and is a boring neo-character. Leatherface does what he does because that's how he was raised. He does it for his family. Don't compare Leatherface to Jason. They aren't very similar.

Their motives sound like they're coming from a five year old.

Yeah, who did you think made Leatherface's motives? Duh, the guy that made him. Either way, Lep's motive is pathetic and laughable.

I agree. A Leprechaun who kills people in general is laughable, the motive is even worse.

He didn't decide his motives the person who invented Leprechauns did. I meant the first person in history to ever speak of a Leprechaun. If you're gonna make a movie about one, might as well stay original. Now Leatherface's motives were a product of horrible scripts made by horrible people put in a horrible movie with a horrible plot.
