Hellraiser
This film was quite decent. It felt dark and mysterious... as it was. The story was told well, and the gore was great. My favorite part would have to be when Pinhead says "We want the man, who did... this!" Overall it was definately different from most horror films, and deserves a look.

Hellbound: Hellraiser II
Better than before... the gore and overall excitement is turned up a notch. A little scene showing Pinhead as his human self before his turning, and some new characters as well as old. I loved the Channard cenobite... that end sequence with him was great. Definately worth a look just like the original.

Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth
A change of tune, but that ain't bad at all. Loved the continuation, but felt Pinhead was in that damn statue for just a couple minutes too long. Still, nothing to complain about. Loved the party slaughter scene. There was also just too much nudity, oh damn, now I'm in a different mood. Anyway the gore was great, the excitement level was decent, and this rather rare flick still should be seen at least once by horror fans. I also suggest this may be your choice if your only into slasher films.

Hellraiser: Bloodline
A sad sequel, but I did enjoy the feel somewhat. It felt too long, and I don't tend to like the space adventures. It's definately the darkest one I've seen. Bloodshed was all right, I loved how those two guards were put together. I suppose it's not a total loss.

Hellraiser: Inferno
I didn't really like this one. I guess I could see they were trying to be like the original and what not to some degree... but this really just bored me. Pinhead never did scare me, but maybe a little as a kid, yet in this one... I must say it wasn't scary at all. If you're a big Hellraiser fan I say rent it, but otherwise stay away.

Hellraiser: Hellseeker
A little better than part five, yes that's true. It had a better feel for sure, but still kind of tread on the same ground. The first two installments did just this, but had dignity. In these newer two they just tried to be too much like it. It's as if these later films could be hour long episodes on late WB. Of course, I did enjoy Kirsty's return and her confrontation with Pinhead. Also the chase this guy goes through to deal with his problem is a bit more entertaining.
