The ThingGreat suspense, great fun, great movie. Everyone portrayed their character well, and it really is an impressive ride from a great director. The winter, the location, the ordeal... it's all set up perfectly. The nice feel, and suspense is what keeps me watching it from time to time. I bought this movie at about five dollars, and even then I was unsure if I'd like it or not. I'm damn glad I bought it then and there, because this one deserves it's score. One to see... at least once I say. 10/10

One of my favorite films of all time. John Carpenter's best film. Yes, better than Halloween.

I liked the original but this was so much better. The FX are amazing. The characters are REAL (a rarity). The location is fucking great. This may be even better than Alien.

To me this is better than Alien, probably becuase this was basically full horror unlike the Sci Fi - Horror Alien.

When you know the monster is about to attack because you have seen it a couple of times and it still makes you jump,that is a masterpiece of scaryness.Always a 10 on the spook meter.
