Plot: A group of teens go to Mexico and on there way back to home they get stuck in Texas were a family tries to get there hands on meat
The TCM remake is probably in my opion the best remake ever. It starts off by showing some fake police footage of the crime secne that you witness when you wacht the movie. The narrator tells a little about what happens and the Sweet Home Alabama starts playin. A group of teens go and pick up a hichthiker and then she blows her hand off with a hand gun warning them that there all going to die. The group of teens go to a "sheriff" and he picks up the body. Then after the body is picked up one of the girls boyfriend goes missing. They go out to search for him and thats when the celebrity horror killer appers Leatherface.
My Opions: First off lets talk about the police footage. I think adding that made you start belive in the movie it happened and did its job by scaring me. The gore in this movie is really good. I love the part when you see the part were the girl blows her head off. This movie is great and I give it a good 9/10.

You know, with this movie, I thought it was ok at best, but it woulda been better if it was its own movie. Fact is, they butchered a classic and that doesn't sit well with me at all.

The TCM remake isn't as bad as people say it is, and i believe that its more scary than the original.

The TCM remake to me was like a version of the original tale that kids would tell around a campfire, an exagerated version of the original, more stylised and less realistic. A good horror film, in my opinion. But it's really TCM 5. And there are too many remakes nowadays.

It sacred the crap out of me cuz I was wachting it at 2:00 in the morning with my mom stoned. Thats pretty scary shit when your stoned. Then I bought it and its still scary. The part that scred me the best was when Jessica Beil was in that room with the rats. That scared me good cause of the suspanse. Also what did ya'll think of my review

Well, it was still a fairly realistic story.

Silence of the Lambs is also an exagerated film about Ed Gain. The story about Buffelo Bill is about Ed And so is Psycho, but Psycho is loosely based on Ed Gein.

The first TCM it's a movie made for audiences that doesn't understanded the true meanings, actings and bizarre horror of the old one.
Example.. the old one..when sally is with bubba family dinning, when she screams a closeup is made to see her horrified face and how she's transtorning. In the movie, this is never told, this is a fact the AUDIENCES have to see and recognize.
In the new one, the movie told all the movie.., like L-face origins and his real face revealed..

The TCM remake was more informative than the original TCM but i'm not sure if thats good or bad, sometimes its better to leave out information for later sequels.
