I had this review damn near done, then my comp froze....I hate you, computer, with everyone bone in my miserable body.
Anyway, I did not notice this when I got it, but this film was also by Wes Craven.
*giddy dance*
This film is about a Priestly Vampire Hunter with some wicked weapons and a secret...he too is afflicted. He works hard with rituals and training to force out the evil and tracks down vampires, trying to destroy them all.
A burning corpse is found on a cross and brought to the morgue. A female worker checks the teeth and is stabbed by a fang. The male worker is convinced its a vampire, and moreso through a call. The person calling asks for the corpse of the possible Vampire for 30 million dollars....and no one is gonna turn down that kind of loot. They escape with the charred body and bring it to a secluded place where a few students and the professor run tests on it, trying to unlock the secret of eternal youth. The body is brought back to life and taken to a research facility where things, as would in these kind of movies, go horribly wrong.
Good gore, awesome weapons and excellent twists and turns fill this movie, another excellent offering from Wes, I wanna see the first one, and the second leaves you wanting another sequel. 4.5 of 5 here too, as I am a lucky boy this week.

I believe so, its a pretty new release, as it had ads for Kill Bill on there. It was in the D section, so thats at least the beginning.
