Are the DVD reviews on the FE site actually helping people with their purchases?
Has anyone here been persuaded to purchase (or vice versa) a DVD, because of the review of it?
Just curious....
For me:yes, personlly I have been persuaded on the basis of some reviews, I just wondered about some of the others here...

Your review of The House by the Cemetery made me purchase it, plus I liked Zombie. Needless to say looking at my review of HbtC, I wasn't very impressed.

I really don't buy DVDs. I would rather rent them. Now if renting counts then yes, I have. I rented "Day of the Dead" because of Bub's reviewand "Halloween II" because of WesCraven's. Yes I have seen "Halloween II" but it was for VHS.

I don't get an allowence so the only way to get money is to sell stuff and rip kids off lol. I sold Sonic Adventure 2 Battle for Gamecube for 40$ when at the time it was worth 20$. Also it was very scrchted and didn't play to good lol.

Bub, sorry about my "The House by the Cemetery" review. I obviously didn't want people to get it and not like it, but I guess that's how it works sometimes.
I did like it though... It was actually my first fulci film, and it cnvinced me to try some of his others. No look me, I'm a Fulci-fiend.
Sorry again though...

His gore is so far ahead of its time, and the music is perfect. That being said, I did like Seven Doors of Death better.
