Bub, sorry about my "The House by the Cemetery" review. I obviously didn't want people to get it and not like it, but I guess that's how it works sometimes. I did like it though... It was actually my first fulci film, and it cnvinced me to try some of his others. No look me, I'm a Fulci-fiend. Sorry again though... That's fine. We all have different opinions. Most of the time I agree with your reviews. However, your Serpent and the Rainbow review is an exception. I really like that film a lot, definently one of Craven's better ones.

I seem to differ with you a lot Craven, but i did enjoy HbtC. Plus, i bought a 5 dollar copy. It was decent and the babysitter was hot. Plus, the bat and Freudstein were cool.

You mean the babysitter manequin? lol I have a question about HbtC, what did that whole scene with the manequin mean? Anyhoo, It was flawed but as a horror film HbtC was so-so. I thought it had enough good to equal the bad, hence my 2 out of 4 rating. Fruedstein was badass, too.

I thought the same, I got that and Seven Doors of Death for 6 bucks each, and couldn't have been happier. I believe the scene your refering to is something the child sees, like a small bit of clairvoyance, as the same thing happens to the babysitter and the little girl is not real, but keeps warning him of the house.

Ah. Well, adding a manequin was a bit odd in my opinion. The whole narrative was very muddled.

Yeah, I think the whole mannequin thing was just a foreshadowing of ***SPOLIERS her death END SPOILERS***.
Anyway, still on the main topic.... Are the site DVD reviews worthwhile to people... are they at the very least entertaining?

Really? Well, that's good to know. You'll probably like HbtC more than I did. I'm just kind of picky about horror films.

it was a prety good movie except for plot holes. I know exactly what you mean... that just sounds funny.... ...... on a different note it pains me to think my tastes differ from the Almighty Lord De (that's my new name for you; deal with it!)
