Shrek 2 favorite gets his own movie
Shrek 2 surprise packet Puss in Boots is set to get his own movie. Dreamworks has hired writers Ed Decter and John Strauss (The Lizzy Maguire Movie) to do the screenplay and the studio will most likely make it a direct-to-video release.
Dreamworks Animation is still working on sequels 3 and 4 of the Shrek franchise with all the principle voices set to reprise their roles.
