Found out that the special edition fully uncut verson of this DVD that has been banned for so many years is coming out on DVD here in Australia!
If anyone hasn't seen it it's about a woman that gets raped (in a fully detailed like 30 mins? scene over and over again. A couple of days later she decides to get revenge with some of the most memorable moments i've seen in cinema.
Also saw that these cult movies are getting released in DVD soon too : Zombie Flesh Eaters and Zombie Holocaust
Hopefully more will follow and we will get more hard to find movies.
One i'm hoping for to get is the brilliant Italian film Dellamorte Dellamore (cemetary man)

About this movie...It was gory...and very fleshy. This movie is more porn that horror...seriously. ONe of the Indie kings.

I watched Zombie Flesh Eaters (aka Zombie, Zombi 2) last week on DVD. I really hate the comical dvd cover art though. Those zombie flicks get my vote for the worst cover art. |

By "comical" I mean comic book style, lol. It's horrible... the pictures are all fuzzy and edited badly, the non anamorphic 2.35:1 transfer doesn't help either.  Believe me, it looks a hell of a lot worse when you're actually looking at it for real. |

Eh, if they do, that stinks. Those covers are so crappy I can't believe it. Most people that do criticise other films like zombie films probably haven't seen them. And yes, I've done that before. But I've learned to stop.

Not necessarily, I like the Dawn Of The Dead and Day Of The Dead covers that we've got, usually the back is better than the front though. All 3 of those DVD's are released by the same company, so it was just their (stupid) idea to release them that way.  |
